Pipe conveyor belt dimensional features will depend upon capacity, length and lift of the conveyor. The width wise dimension will have relation to the capacity. The carcass strength and thereby its weight will depend upon the length and lift of the conveyor. The longer the conveyor and more is the lift, stronger / heavier will be the carcass construction. Thus, these two parameters (width and carcass construction) will influence the weight of the belt of pipe conveyor.

Your Belt width will (250 x 3.14) + 50 mm = 850 mm (Approx)

You can take the weight of the belt 850mm wide for 3 ply.

Sir Yes this is not rocket science.

The belt width of a diameter 250mm is 1000mm W with 3 plies this is approx 12 kg per meter depending on cover thickness.

Yes, but I did think that designing pipe conveyors was slightly more difficult than the run of the mill troughed belt conveyor so I raise an eyebrow when a conveyor designer has to ask this question.... ■
