“According to industry analysts, ABB is the leading provider of power and automation solutions to key industries such as pulp & paper, metals, mining and cement,” Tunkelo said. “We will continue to develop and deliver value-added solutions for these industries, with a renewed focus on more process and enterprise software applications, as well as asset management services.”
Tunkelo, 41, has worked in various management positions at Danisco, Siemens and Compaq before he re-joined ABB two years ago to head ABB New Ventures. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. ■
