To handle hazardous materials you must have UN certification. Otherwise your stuff is not legal.
There should be a healthier market carting talc, cement, detergent, foodstuffs & plastic feedstock. Also consider landscaping materials like bark, peat & fertiliser.
I have carried pet-coke up & down motorways & can vouch for the high load security levels. When I opened the back doors for the day driver I was surprised at the height of the load. Nothing had shifted into the side curtains, which would have been the case with sacks or cases. I really drive hard on night trunking operations & that load did not shift 1cm. Hope it helps. ■

Intermediate Bulk Container Market
Hello,
I am working for a manufacturing company that makes Intermediate Bulk Containers for solid materials. Currently, we are trying to find new customers. Our attempt to do so was by subscribing to several online company directories. We would search these directories for any companies that handle hazardous (IB6-IB7) chemicals. However, after all of our work, this did not turn up any new customers. Most of the companies did not have any use for the containers we make for various reasons.
I think we have been trying to find customers in the wrong market. I am not sure though which market would be better to look for. Do you have any ideas?
