Brabender bag dump hoppers from the "BagDumper" product family are available in two versions, i.e. as add-on extension hoppers for Brabender metering feeders and as stand-alone bag dump stations.
The first version includes compact add-on extension hoppers for the Brabender bulk ingredient metering feeders FlexWall®Plus and FlexWall®Classic, allowing to fill bagged ingredients directly into the feeder. The steep-walled design and the large outlet cross-section congruent with the huge inlet section typical of FlexWall® feeders result in excellent ingredient mass flow. The bag dump hoppers can be connected to suction systems with central filters or can be supplied in glove box design. Their little weight also allows to use them with gravimetric feeders.
The second version includes stand-alone bag dump stations in modular design, allowing to configure application-suited models with design features picked from a comprehensive package of options, e.g. glove boxes for dust-free bag emptying inside the closed bag dump station, attached filters refeeding filtered particles back into the system, and bag disposal modules allowing to collect emptied bags in a waste bag hose.
For poorly flowing ingredients variants can be supplied equipped with Brabender Bin Activators BAV ensuring dependable discharge of ingredients from the bag dump hoppers. The defined discharge rates also perfectly qualify these variants as storage and refill stations for loss-in-weight feeders. Brabender bag dump hoppers of this version also allow direct integration of Brabender metering feeders for reliable bulk ingredient metering directly from the hoppers.
