Enquiry for a budgetary cost for "Reversible Conveyor"

Dear All

We are planning for a Reversible Conveyor to transfer phosphogypsum from plant to Jetty & rock phosphates from Jetty to plant. The distance between the two is about 3 KM. The loading of phosphogypsum will be done by ship loader of 1200 MTPH & unloading will be done by Ship unloader of 1200 MTPH. The material transfer for both loading & unloading will be done by one conveyor i.e. "reversible conveyor". We have to provide a conveyor system to match this handling rate.

So I request the honourable members of the forum to provide:

1. Budgetary cost for the project (with appropriate technical specifications) for the reversible conveyor system

2. Suggest suitable conveyor system for ship loading & unloading

3. How to load (suitable equipment) phosphogypsum into conveyor from plant to jetty

You may contact (pspanda@paraphos.com) me for any further details if required.

You could better use a two-way conveyor: carrying the fertiliser on the top strand and the rock on the bottom. This will simplify the jetty dramatically. If you reverse the conveyor you will have to collapse the jetty load out tripper to conserve available wharf length. Not easy: not nice.

Unloading onto the bottom strand, at the wharf, assumes that you can park the unloader's cross conveyor conveniently while the machine proper is relocating over the holds. No problem there.

Anyone can throw dirt over the side of a ship. Getting the dirt out is far more rewarding, as well as essential .

1. Budgetary cost for the project (with appropriate technical specifications) for the reversible conveyor system. This requires a more detailed enquiry.

2. Suggest suitable conveyor system for ship loading & unloading. Vessel DWT's; available berth; etc are required. What are the topography restrictions?

3. How to load (suitable equipment) phosphogypsum into conveyor from plant to jetty. Depending on rock size a budget price will indicate a grab unloader with an outloading conveyor, complete with a Cleveland Cascade, mounted alongside atop the main boom.

Questions

What country is the project in?

What meteorlogical details are available for a quick estimate?

What is construction schedule?

What are country tariffs for hardware; engineering?

What infrastructure is available - power, water, housing, stockyard space, transport to site from shipping terminal, labor force, etc.?

Is you request for turnkey or are you planning to hire construction contractor?

Who commissions the system?
