Your scope of endeavour is too broad for consideration.

There is not enough time to learn about all trucks in one lifetime.

Start with Tatra & work down to DAF. Then in a later life you could perhaps

learn something about Caterpillar & Volvo dumpers. But they will have

changed beyond recognition well before then. ■

If you are interested in trucks handling bulk solids I think that you should study bulk solids, rather than trucks. The glossary of terms published by the BMHB and listed in the lyn column could be a good place to start, and then examine behavior related to measured property values of wall friction, bulk density and shear strength. Good luck, there is plenty of good information on the web. ■
