The International Congress on Fly Ash

December 4-7, 2005

New Delhi, India.

Dear Sir,

We have pleasure in inviting you (and your members / associates) to THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON FLY ASH, which is being organised on December 4-7, 2005 at New Delhi, India.

The congress will bring together over 750 delegates from across the world of Fly Ash. This is an excellent opportunity for you to benefit as a sponsor, as an Exhibitor, or as a speaker and also as a delegate. We have attached with this mail the first information brochure about The International Congress for your perusal and distribution to your members and or your colleagues / associates.

The Government of India recognising the importance and potential of fly ash established "Fly Ash Mission" in the year 1994 to undertake concerted efforts in select Thrust Areas of fly ash utilisation. The initiatives undertaken along with major stake holder agencies through Technology Demonstration Projects have turned around the perception of fly ash from a "waste material" to that of "resource material". The efforts over the last decade have made significant impact. A meagre 3 percent utilisation of 40 million tonne of fly ash generation in 1994 has risen to 32 percent of 110 million tonne generated in 2004. The generation of fly ash is expected to increase to 170 million tonne by the end of XI Five Year Plan (end March 2012). Accordingly, we anticipate huge market potential for fly ash based products and technologies in the country, which can be exploited.

We look forward to receive your confirmation of participation

Congress On Fly Ash

Respected Dr. Vimal, I must appreciate you vision and usefull datas which will increase the confidence among new users of fly ash. This type of prediction I have already given in this forum way back but never supported by any one, same prediction for gypsum also I have given.Due to high demand of cement and boom in construction ,the fly ash is the answer for the same.Only two gulf countries have started thinking on this about 3 years back and now the export of fly ash to these countries has risen to 300 times with in a span of 6-9 monthS If all the countries open this then this will sell about about 80-90 us $ per tonne in those countries. In some countries, the aggregate/ like crushed stone used for making concrete and for making roads is being manufactured by mixing of fly ash and gypsum.

I would like to share my experiance as a speaker in this forum ,my main subject shall be, how to put a competitive fly ash terminal including seperation plant near very good locations in India, designing of handling and despatch system by variuos means,Tie up of the importers from thirld world countries with fly ash producing plants in india. Please let me know the formalities for the above.

regards, anil seth
