The EP is used for over 20 years.

Its performance is suspected, though the particulate emission is below 10mg/m3.

I want to ask how can I determine the EP under deterioration because here EP is not well maintain.

And the voltage applied is below the design one 60kVA.

Moreover, I want to know more about improvement on rapping system. Please advice

Thanks for your sharing

Many things to consider:

Changed process conditions, moisture content, temperature, acid gas content, dielectrics of the dust.....

Excessive dust accumulation on the collecting electrodes (poor rapper performance) will reduce the clearances and the applied voltage. Distortion/misalignment of the H.V parts will also cause this.

Talk to the original equipment supplier. A close inspection by an expert is needed to give you the total answer.
