Respected Sirs,

I am Girish from India. I have recently faced a problem of shearing of mounting bolts of unbalance vibratory motors used in a tripple deck vibrating screen. The screen details are as follows:

Length - 4000mm

Width - 1400mm.

No.of decks - 3.

Capacity - 250 TPH.

Material screened - Iron Ore.

Unbalance motors used are 2 Nos of 8.5 KW each having a centrifugal force of approx.122850N each and maximum operating torque of 2250 Kg Cm each. My queries are as follows:

*Are bolts of M-36 sufficient for mounting the above motors?

*What precautions and special care should I take for mounting the motors?

*What material is best suited for manufacture of bolts. Presently I am using bolts of forged steel, make unbrako & Precision Fasteners Ltd?

*What is the ideal size of hole for M-36 size bolt?

Your valuable guidence and suggestions will be of immense help to me.

Best Regards

Girish
