is there any body knows role of liquid ring in Nash vacuum pump? ■

Hi,

The liquid ring (normally water) functions as a compressing wall, a sealing ring between vanes and housing and as a coolant.

is there any criteria to choose filtration method (pressure or vacuum)?

for example is a press filter suitable for very fine iron ore (80% under 40 micron)? ■
