Blending of High Fat Flour Mixes

Can anyone help with blending of high fat flour mixes. Our client wants to use a ribbon blender, but past experience tells us that the fat will cause a build up on the tynes in the blender.

Does anyone have a blender that overcomes this or can offer a solution?

I would not recommend a ribbon blender.

The best mixer by far for this application is a Forberg Fluidized Zone mixer. They are specially designed to mix even the most hard to mix ingredients.

You may also wish to check with Kemutec in the UK -- they offer several variations of mixers / blenders which may be applicable.

A ribbon blender is not recommended for this application.

There will be a high intensive mixer required.

AVA Huep supplies horizontal intensive mixers. The shovel mixers are working in a turbulent whirling bed and create an fast and homogeneous mixing process.
