Overall Experience
• Sankaranarayanan has more than 24 years of experience in Application Engineering, Marketing and project management of Crushing & Screening projects, Bulk material handling systems like coal handling plant, Special projects like Metal recovery plant for High carbon Ferro chrome.
• In this field have hands on experience in assembling and servicing of Jaw Crushers, Cone crushers of both SYMONS design as well as Roller bearing design like CEDARAPIDS, JCI, and vertical shaft impactors. Application engineering involves conceptualization of plants, solution providing, identification of customers, finalizing orders and project execution with a team of professionals.
• During his assignments, has finalized collaboration agreements with leading US, AUSTRALIAN companies like ASTEC, TELSMITH, KOLBERG PIONEER, etc.. And Chinese companies for specific equipments.
• Prior to joining TAURIAN he was with BHP Engineers Ltd, INDIANA ENGINEERING, SAYAJI and Pennsylvania Crushers, handling sales and marketing and after sales service.
• Has traveled a lot abroad and all over India and has excellent rapport and contact with all the customers, principals.

Special Achievements
• Designed and supplied METAL RECOVERY PLANT for High carbon Ferro chrome through jigging process for a leading company manufacturing Ferro alloys in INDIA.
• Developed mobile crushing & Screening technology in INDIA through compact design.
• During working with Sayaji, made a breakthrough in TAMILNADU for selling jaw crushers on large volume basis
• During working with BHP made a breakthrough by conceptualizing the first mobile crushing plant for BHP Engineers in INDIA.
• During the present assignment, finalized Dealership & Manufacturing License agreement with ASTEC Group of companies USA and manufacturing license for INDIA for their mobile and track plants.
• Presently achieved a record turnover in the first year of INR 5 crores and in the second year to 25 Crores
• Designed and developed Mobile screening plants with hydraulic design for conveyors folding and hydraulic take-up arrangement for easy operation
• Presently developing roller bearing cone crusher and track mounted plants
Experience
• Presently working as Vice-President (Operations) in TAURIAN ENGINEERING PVT LTD, from FEB 2005 till date, a group company of TAURIAN IRON & STEEL PVT LTD, a Mumbai based company engaged in multi various activity like steel plant, mining, wind energy, from January 2005. In charge of the company all expansion projects, identifying and arranging collaborations, sourcing of equipments, project execution. Overall Managing two factories Gurgaon and Roorkee which has commenced production from 7th of August 2006 for Track plants and Hydraulic version of mobile wheeled plants. Commenced dispatch of 1st plant within a record time of 45 days. Mainly responsible for achieving the target of 25 crores in a record two years of inception.
• Earlier from Sep 2000 to Feb 2005 was working as DY. General Manager-Marketing in BHP ENGINEERS handling their Bulk material handling systems and crushing & screening division of CEDARAPIDS, CANICA MAKE.
• Earlier from April 1996 to Sep 2000 was working in Methods INDIA pvt ltd, as senior manager-marketing handling their BULK material handling systems.
• From Nov 1992 to April 1996 working with INDIANA ENGINEERING PVT LTD , as ASST. Manager-marketing selling Bulk material handling systems and pneumatic conveying systems
• From Nov 1987 to Nov 1992 working with SAYAJI IRON & STEEL CO> PVT LTD as Sales Engineer selling AUBEMA Jaw crushers, Impactors, Roll crushers, Vibrating screen etc.
• From April 1983 to Nov 1987 working with USHAMIL Pvt LTd, selling PENNSYLVANIA Crushers USA selling Jaw crushers, Bradford Breakers, Roller pulverizing mills.
