Biography:
Escaped Holocaust in December 1938 and settled in New York City. Worked as automechanic while attending school and thereafter. Switched to business career in 1950 as sales executive. Got interested in high temperature conveyors, then in steep angle conveying. Founded Flexowall Corp. in 1972 in Partnership with the late Conrad Scholtz AG(Hamburg). Forced out in 1981 and started new venture,called ultimately EleVeyor Mfg. Div., designed and patented EleVeyor Double (Sandwich) Belt conveyor used primarily for in-plant bulk solids elevating due to its extremely compact footprint. Sold company in 1998 to fabricator, NorthEast Fabricators, LLC to reduce activity and responsibilities. Now act as Product Manager supporting further development as well as sales.
Know-how and experience:
I am a born (not trained) mechanical engineer with a pronounced sense of the behavior of bulk materials in motion. I take pleasure in assisting others in their development and in solving bulk conveying problems.
