Schooling at High School, Barhiya
Intermediate Education completed in 1960 from Science College, Patna.Immediately after that, joined Bihar College of Engineering at Patna and completed B.Sc (Mech. Engg) in 1964, from Patna University standing First Class First with Distinction- GOLD MEDALLIST. Next completed Masters in Technology (M.Tech) in 1967 from I.I.T Kharagpur standing First in the Class. Obtained Ph.D in 1970 from I.I.T Kharagpur.
Began professional career as a Lecturer from July ‘64 – Sept. ‘64 at Patna University. Then Joined as Teacher Trainee( Government of India Scheme) from Sept. ’64- Sept. ‘67. After finishing this program , joined as Lecturer in ME Dept on 11th Sept 67. Next was promoted to Assistant Professor on 4th Feb 72. Next became Professor on 14th Aug80 and is servinf as such till date teaching various subjects like Engineeing Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Instrumentation, Machine Design ,Pipeline Transportation, Material Handling Equipment etc.
