Change in Starting Sequqnce of Electric Motor

Dear Team,

i would like to ask, if we change the staring sequence of electric motor, what could be the consequences

Conveyor Data

Length - 2231 m

Lift - 5 m

Material - Iron Ore (2200 kg/m3)

Belt - ST 2500, 15 mm top / 10 mm btm

Drive - 4 x 710 kw (3 at Head & 1 at Tail)

Capacity - 8000 TPH.

Current Status of Motor Starting - M1 & M2 (Head) - 1st start then delay of 6 sec then M3 stats (Head) and last M4 (Tail) Starts after delay of 9 sec.

if we change the sequance from M1 - M2 - M3-M4 to M1-M2-M4-M3, what could be consequence. Please guide.

The modification may cause various consequences including: damage, and/or unable to start.

I speculate that the tail end motor's start is intentionally delayed.

 

I propose that suitably experienced personnel etc are requested to review etc.
