We did some compressibility tests for soft plastic pellets.
The tested conditions are
6 inch diameter cylinders.
some were fillled with the talc coated soft pellets.
some were filled with the uncoated soft pellets (same product, and same amount as the above).
both cylinders were given the same pressure on the top surface of pellets.
After 1000 hours, the uncoated soft pellets showed the more compressibility than the talc coated pellets.
However, in general, the talc coated pellets should have less friction between each pellets so they should be easier to be compressed. But why we got the reverse results. By the way, we have repeated several times. All the results were the same. ■
