Posted in: , on 2. Jun. 2006 - 06:46

I need to know about the cost and capacity of a dryer which should be able to dry wet (pond) fly ash of 10% moisture to 2%. The capacity must be greater than 100 ton per hour.

I want to use hot air of temp 450.C to dry it. The final fly ash from dryer must be at the temp 100.C and with 2% moisture at max.

I have enough hot air available from one of the system.

pl suggest me.

thanks for reading.

If you have hot air up to 450.C, then you can use direct rotary dryer.

It would be better to use indirect rotary dryer if you have steam.

Need info about price of theraml energy for hot air and electricity.

Attn: evendra K Upadhyaya.

yes we can design the whole system. Please inform where the system has to be installed?

'Greater than 100 tons per hour" is a vague term. 101 to ???? is greater than 100!!!

So please be specific, as equipment has to be designed for individual project.
