Coal Material Handler & Dryer

Posted in: , on 25. May. 2010 - 10:37

I am exploring 2 possibilities regarding material handling & drying coal.

We currently use 100's metres of conveying equipment, to transport coal from transportation vehicle, train, to then crush the coal, and then feed it into the boilers.

I am looking for new technologies to material handle the coal to feed into crushers, to ideally then dry before feeding into the boiler. If we can take some of the moisture content out of the coal then we will increase the calorific values.

I can supply the various datasheets of the coal inself, but intially i am looking for expressions of interest from manufacturers.

Tonnage per hour 1,000

I appreciate that teh above tonnage, may mean that we have several systems, working concurrently.

This is curretly at feasibility stage, and running costs are key.

Dear Sir

We are extremely interested in this 'project' and would very much appreciate if you could email your layout drawings and a flowchart in order to study the various possibilities. You can email us at admin@everconsult.com.my. You can also visit our website www.everconsult.com.my as a reference point.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Lamiflo Material Handler And Dryer For Coal From L F Pumping Ltd

Posted on 26. May. 2010 - 08:18

Martin,

We would like to introduce the LamiFlo material handler and dryer from LF Pumping Ltd. You can use the LamiFlo system to material handle and dry the product at the same time.

We are in discussions with a number of transportation company who transport coal from all sorts of place. The LamiFlo system can be used to material handle the product from one place to another, up to 250 metres per unit depending on the material. (We are currently testing a 500m VERTICAL run) The unit will at the same time reduce the moisture content of the material.

The units are lightweight and are extremely easy to use. If you are looking to blow the product into a boiler at a power station, these units are ideal, and can remove moisture content at the same time.

The key aspect is the size of the coal particles, the finer the particles the more moisture content we can remove.

Summary, we can transport and dry the coal from one place to feed a crusher or a grinding mill, then material handle and dry the material into a boiler, or a storage area.

We would be happy to discuss this with you and a manufacturer of a crusher, or grinding mill for coal.

Mark,

Send some data to me. I may have a drying solution used previously on coal applications. See photograph attached of typical drying plant.
