Our client, a specialised engineering company which is part of a global mining company, is currently seeking a Process Engineer - Bulk Handling, to join its research team in their offices close to Paris / France.
Directly reporting to the General Manager Engineering, you will be working within Project Teams with other specialists. Projects will involve existing and new sites, in Europe, Africa and Australasia.
Your day-to-day activities will consist of:
- Design, study and start projects in your specialities,
- Work in project teams, under a Project Manager,
- Act as Project Manager on those projects that revolve mainly around Bulk Handling,
- Supervise the subcontracted projects and manage ongoing relationships with suppliers,
- Participate in studies & projects: design solutions, costs estimates, computer simulations, write technical specifications, prepare and manage tenders, supervision and follow-up of projects until tests.
You are fluent in French, with a strong command of English. You have 5-10 years experience in Bulk Handling and management of a fleet of specialised equipment (conveyors, stackers...). You are a Mechanical Engineer. Previous experience in mining/metallurgic industry would be a plus.
