For certified EExd electrical motors is temperature class also an important factor? Or is it that Gas group ( IIA, IIB or IIC) is the deciding parameter and temperature class T3 or T4 does not matter? Can I use a motor certified for EExd IIA/IIB T3 against a specification requirement of EExd IIA/IIB T4?

I'm in a fix !!

T3 means max surface temperature of 200°C

T4 means a maximum surface temperature of 135°C

I would say a T3 motor is not suitable for a T4 specification.
