InBulk Technologies are in the news again, scooping the Good Citizen Award

in the recent Supply Chain Awards run in association with Motor Transport.

This rewards companies that take steps to minimise the impact of their

supply chain and, importantly, communicate these measures to a wider

audience. InBulk developed the H type ISO-Veyor in conjunction with Rugby

Cement, who entered them for the award.

Allan Wilkie, InBulk's commercial director, expressed delight that ISO-Veyor had won. 'Rugby purchased 40 H type units last year and has been using them to transport pulverised fuel ash between West Burton power station and the Terminal 5 project at Heathrow Airport since February 2003'.

It is reckoned that Rugby will save 5,000 road journeys over the next five years using the fully intermodal system which is designed to be transported by road, rail or sea.
