For the past 27 years I have worked as a Software Engineering Manager, Drafting Manager, Lead Structural and Mechanical designer and detail draftsperson in the Building, Construction and Mining Industries. My experience has seen me work on many different types of projects from concept, design through to fabrication on Iron Ore, Magnetite, Gold, Copper, Zinc and Coal Projects.
In my lifetime I have worked for companies such as Connell Wagner, GHD, Downer EDI, Roche Mining. CMPS&F, Bradken ANI, Como Engineers, ProMet Engineers and GWH Buildings on multi-million dollar projects for Karara Mining, Macquarie Generation Rail, Forexpo, Grange Resources, Port Headland Port Authority, Sphere, Venture Minerals, Xstrata and many more.
I consider myself a decent Solidworks User and have presented at Solidworks World events on Massive Assembly handling on Iron Ore Projects and CAD Automation.
I really love Automating Software and can see that there is a huge world out there that can benefit from my knowledge and experience with CAD Automation.
