1959-1960 practical training in lube oil industry
1960-1966 studied Process Engineering at Technical University of Merseburg, Germany,
Dr.-Ing. degree in 1994 at TU Braunschweig, Germany,
1966-1981 professional activity in the field of Thermal Process Engineering and
1981-1991 in Mechanical Process Engineering in chemical industry
since 1991 leader of the Research Group of “Mechanics of Bulk Solids” at the Institute of Process Engineering at the University of Halle, Germany,
since 1995 lectureship on Bulk Solids Handling,
