Parameters required to design a conveyor belt

Is there any specific formulas to design trough conv. belt as far as length, width, height, speed, capacity, material of belt, # of rollers ? or anything else ■

You can do a google on CEMA (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association) they have a publication with all the formulas.

You can also look at software packages available - follow this link.
