Super Group Equipment, part of JSE listed Super Group, has announced the launch of the HMK 102B backhoe loader in South Africa. Sourced from leading Turkish construction machine manufacturer, Hidromek, the machines are already available in the country.
According to Eric Lerche, Chief Executive, Construction Equipment, SGE, an agreement for sole distribution rights has been signed with the Turkish company. “We are currently the official Hidromek agent in South Africa and are negotiating for similar rights for the rest of Africa.”
Hidromek currently exports its products to more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australasia.
Lerche notes that the machines feature a quality design and are ideal for utilisation in local conditions.
“With its inherent quality of design and European sourced components, and excellent manufacturing processes, the HMK 102B is ISO 9001 accredited and has undergone vetting by the SABS.”
The backhoe loader features 4x4 capabilities, side shift attachment, and a Perkins engine.
“The machines are high performing, fuel efficient, and are supported by the SGE network of technicians. Our technicians countrywide have undergone extensive training and are now able to provide a comprehensive service covering all technical aspects of the machines,” says Lerche.
The HMK 102B is ideal for a wide range of construction applications from road building and general construction to swimming pool contractors and similar projects.
“The HMK has been well received in South Africa and we have already sold a number of units. We will be keeping significant stock of the machines to ensure short lead times and swift delivery.”
