Strain Gauge Load Cell Wrong Wiring

Dear all,

if i wrongly connect the loadcell exc+ and exc- to belt scale controller signal+ and signal -, loadcell signal+ and signal- to belt scale controller exc+ and exc-.

1) will this affected the accuracy?

2) will this damage the load cell? or it is fine after i switched back the wires?.

Thank you.

Wires Crossed Indeed.

You tell us. It reads like it has already happened. The manufacturer can probably advise further if the information is not in the manual.

yeap, it is still working. But i wonder why my beltscale controller still received mV and working although the wiring was wrong. But the load monitor on belt scale controller fluctuating between 1 t/hr to -1t/hr....what is the main factor to cause this fluactuation? issit the alignment of the idlers?

Thank you.

sorry...i mean the reading of load (kg/m) is fluctuating on belt scale controller while i was doing the zero calibration when there is no load on the conveyor.
