In-line connection for tubular vibrators

Posted in: , on 16. Jun. 2016 - 20:48

I'm looking for a good solution for joining in-line two tubular vibratory conveyors, in horizontal position and diam. 500 mm.

The vibatory conveyors are powered by two out-of-balance vibrators in contra rotation

This joining will be sanitary and dust proof.

I will apreciate recomendations.

Thanks

An Owner/Manager should not need to ask this. You cannot join 2 equal conveyors. The first must be smaller to provide penetration. Then a simple flexible diaphragm can be used to connect across 2 flanges. Job done.

Where To Go

Dear Mr. Bravo,

continuing from the first reply, you might want to give more / a full set of information or else to contact the OEM.

Some input:

Due to the minor differences in oscillation behaviour, the connecting might be a bit complicated to design and require some specific know-how or else the knowledge, where the existing conveyors might be correctly refurbished without damaging anything or loosing warranty (if any).

As you mention "sanitary", your material t. b. conveyed could be either foodstuff, or perhaps agrarian or pharmaceutical raw materials. In both cases, the connection will be subject to specific legislation / standards & rulings, so a do-it-yourself brand from the net might not be appropriate.

You might try (no relation):
