Hi,

I want to estimate the abrasion index of a hematite/magnetite iron ore using the average drill bit wear rate on an iron ore deposit.

Is there any correlation in form of equation, table or graph between drill bit wear rate and the ore abrasion index?

The average bit wear on the deposit was found to be about 102 linear meters per bit (5 7/8" diameter), using a rotary Reedrill SKT rig.
