Voith has the Turbo Belt TT linear boost drive on offer.

Has anyone got experience with this type of drive?

Are there any problems?

I remember there were other suppliers of this type of drive - and this is not new technology.

Looking to this as a potential option to increase capacity of an existing belt without increasing tension or changing the main drives etc.

Trying to avoid tripper drives.

There are some trials I am aware of using distributed powered idlers to add drive to existing belts.

I would be interested in thoughts and opinions, if any.
