Belt Laying - Long Distance Conveyor

Posted in: , on 19. Mar. 2009 - 11:27

Dear Friends,

I am working as a Design Engineer in a Material Handling Company.

I would like to have your suggestions on different ways of LAYING STEEL CORD BELT for a LONG DISTANCE CONVEYOR (approx. 4.3 kms) with both vertical and horizontal curves. There would be 16 Belt reels (weight 30 T and dia. 4.2 mtr for each reel) to be laid along the conveyor. The conveyor is hugging the ground in most of portion.

Thanks in Advance. Regards,

Adnan Akhtar.
