Ceramic Pulley Lagging (Continued)
As reported by Rulmeca customers in the US and Europe, the use of ceramic lagging not only extends the life of lagging (when compared with rubber lagging), but also, under certain circumstances, can significantly extend the life of conveyor belt, pillow blocks, and pulleys.

Switching from rubber to (higher grip) ceramic lagging enabled this conveyor operator to reduce "slack side" belt tension and dramatically extend belt life.
