Kind attn.: Mr. Joseph Kwintowski,

You intend to use stacker for blending of magnetite (iron ore in the form of Fe3O4). General information mentions it is likely to be magnetic in nature, may be to some extent. The usual literature on bulk materials does not mention its characteristics.

Well I have not dealt with a project dealing with this particular material. But let me try to know your reason for the apprehension.

I would like to say that if this bulk material can be conveyed by belt conveyors, then it can be certainly stacked by stacker. Because yard conveyor and stacker are functionally conveyors only, although stacker is a very sophisticated machine but its component which is concerned with the material is only belt conveyor.

In all probability this material at mining place or in some plant must be handled by belt conveyors. So it may give you some clue about the solution.

By the way if it is like a routine bulk material, then bulk material handling equipment are supposed to work with it successfully.

Hay Street seems to be going the way of St George's Terrace!

What kind of stacker?
