We have developed a new patented liner geometry for all types of mills. The new liner concept increases grinding efficiency (reduced power, increased throughput and improved grind size). A measure of the success shows a significant benefit over our gains with the 40 ft SAG mill at Cadia Mine in Australia.
Cadia's success was published at the SAG2006 conference. It showed a 6% gain in throughput and 47% increase in production tonnage/kg of liner use.
The new liner geometry, in theory, shows much greater gains when measuring comminution by increased ore surface area.
Conveyor Dynamics, Inc. (CDI) have not been able to offer this new method due to our 5 year agreement with Metso Minerals. That agreement has lapsed. We are now back in business. ■
