Concrete Silo Rock Ladders, Lowering Device, etc

We are in the process of designing storage silos (concrete) for HBI and DRI (iron ore), approx. 100' tall, 30 ft dia. Material is being fed by a horiz. traveling belt tripper to one of four silos at a time. The material being handled, particularly the DRI has a tendency to fragment and create unwanted fines.

We are wondering if anyone has any successful experiences in using rock ladders, soft loading chutes, slides or any other type of device to cushion the material fall into silo. At the same time if there are success stories how effective and viable is the maintenance of these devices.

Thank you.
