STROKE CHECK..........Why?

Posted in: , on 11. Mar. 2004 - 04:59

If you actually check the size of the circle on your vibrating screen you may find a problem.

If stroke is too big.........the material is thrown too high in air and fines are STRATIFIED always and can NOT get back down to pass the opening in the wirecloth.

**** I had a guy.......running with a DIESEL........at 1400 RPM by actual tachomoter check off the SCREEN box pulley. This was 300 rpm faster than should be..........the box was actually ERRATIC....the stones were flying off the deck all around the machine on the ground. We slow it to 1100.......material stayed on the deck.......and passed the openings.......at around 1/2"

and all lived happily ever after.

TRUE STORY.....
