Sometimes, We have a number of problems contributing to SEVERE Reduction of B-10 Bearing Hr Life.
An auxillary LUBRICATION System may be incorporated to increase the life of the bearings.
You find this in:
1. Very large BEARING units....say 160mm up to 200mm
2. Very Cold or Very Hot operating climates
3. Very Dusty Operations
We are basically RECIRCULATING the OIL constantly and filtering in the OIL RESERVOIR and then pumping it back up to the bearings. This is a fix but, not perfect as the lube system now becomes another MTCE headache. You must keep the filters cleaned or plugging of the system and overflow or lack of oil becomes the result.
If you are having trouble with a BIG MECHANISM in a vibrating unit you may want to look at this option. ■
