Size Reduction of a Fat Solid Matrix

hello,

Im new here to this forum. I had a question regarding a powder I am trying to create.

It is basically a melted fat 40% in which a solid powder is mixed in and honogenised. The molten mass is then cooled to a solid.

My question is...... how can i convert this mass to a free flowing powder form?

If I use a multimill the high speed of the blades creates a friction and melts the product.

does anyone have any idea how i can get around this problem? Some one suggested that I can get the molten mass spray chilled in a chilling tower. Problem is its too expensive to maintain that cold temp.

I would like to find out an economical way to make this product.

any help is appreciated.

Regards,

I suspect that a powder form would notbe free flowing. perhaps you could consider an extruder to produce noodles, similar to plastic granules, that will jave better loose handling properties than a powder.
