Hi there, I'm currently working on a project to improve the Peschl Shear Cell machine used in my university. The device has been malfunctioning lately and we have tried different methods to improve the reproducibility of the results. We tried cleaning the air bearings. However, none of these method works!

Can you suggest any other reasons why the shear cell would malfunction and ways to correct it? ■
