Drive pulley lagging damage in half of the pulley face width

Dear Experts,

we are facing a problem of drive pulley lagging wear in half of the pulley face width, other part is almost Ok.

i would like give some information about the conveyor.

Total 3 drives of 250 KW two at discharge end and one at tail end (retrun side), Belt specification ST 1000, endless length is 3600 meter. Problem occures only at Discharge pulleys.

Looking for some solution.

How fares the bottom cover?

Is the lagging material consistent across the face?

Was the drum truly concentric, or thereabouts, to start with?

What material are we talking about?

If the tail drum is running fairly well why not exchange it with the head drum and see what happens?

Other respondents will ask a lot more questions.

Is the lagging half worn in the center, equal wear from both sides or half way across on one side?

Has the alignment of the pulley with the system frame been confirmed to be square?

Does the belt drift across the pulley in one full revolution of the belt?

Is the discharge pulley crowned? (Hopefully not with a steel chord belt)

Is the discharge pulley also the drive? If it is the drive do you experience any slippage?

A picture or two will save a thousand words and help a lot.
