The panelists will focus on overviews of design principles, application guidelines, auxiliary components, and controls. The "Do's and Don'ts" associated with each type of system will also be presented. The review will include vacuum and pressure systems, including dilute phase and plug-piston phase conveying systems. Typical pieces of hardware, such as air supplies, line chargers (airlocks), pipeline accessories, and receiving stations will be overviewed.

Presenters include Paul Solt who is a principal consultant at Pneumatic Conveying Consultants and has over 48 years experience installing and troubleshooting pneumatic conveyors. For the past 18 years, Paul has written "Pneumatic Points to Ponder" exclusively for PBE readers. He holds several patents for pneumatic conveying devices.

And, Jack Hilbert who has over 30 years experience in the application, design, engineering, installation and operation of pneumatic conveying systems.
