A New Year, and a New Name

You may have already heard that Mac Process and Schenck AccuRate have officially integrated under a new name - Schenck Process LLC - as of January 1, 2014.

Schenck Process LLC is North America's largest design/build provider of pneumatic conveying, air filtration, weighing and feeding systems and manufacturer of Mac Process and Schenck AccuRate equipment.

Integration efforts began in 2012, resulting in streamlined processes between the two operations, which have ensured quick response time for customers and the ability to provide state of the art pneumatic conveying, filtration, weighing and feeding systems from one supplier.

What does that mean for your business?

Located in Darmstadt, Germany, Schenck Process has been known for precision measuring and process technology for over 125 years.

Now, the Schenck Process Group offers an expanded consortium of material handling members operating in 22 countries on five continents. This means that more than 3,200 employees are developing innovative solutions for weighing, feeding, conveying, screening, automation and air filtration technology processes.

All of this translates into local coverage for you, no matter where you conduct business. Best of all, as a single source supplier and manufacturer, we're able to better control lead time and quality.

Besides the name - what else is changing?

Manufacturing for Schenck Process LLC will continue in Whitewater, WI and Sabetha, KS and the company headquarters will be located in Kansas City, MO. This change will be seamless to your organization other than the new entity name. There will be no interruptions in business operations and the individuals with whom you have always communicated will not change.

You'll see the name Mac Process used as a product brand name for pneumatic conveying and dust collection equipment. Schenck Accurate will be used as a product brand name for weighing and feeding equipment.
