About Vsk

Posted on 19. Jul. 2008 - 03:16

Yes, I'm "still" working with VSK technology, they 4 kilns, and with a lot of "new things" for us.

Some troubles, like:

- Control of pellets in peletizer

- Temperatures at high conical part

- About control in Vibrating feeder

- About maintenance of Rotary Grating for discharge of clinker

- Control of temperatures at Bag Filters

- Flow and pressure of air flow from Blower (roots)

- ... I could continue all the day...

I hope you can give some advices ...

Harold

Dear Mr. Harold,

I am doing process simulation for VSKs now. But as there's no project from industries, actually I know little about the burner system in a normal vertical shaft kiln. Gernerally a burner lance system is applied in PFR kilns, so would you please send some pictures about the burner system of your kiln and some other operating conditions which are not confidential to me?

my email: eric.zhiguoxu@gmail.com

Thanks very much,

Eric

Your Problem With The Vsk Plant

Posted on 12. Mar. 2009 - 06:08

Dear Harold

Our team is currently in Rwanda to stabilize and operate a VSK plant (3*100 TPD) purchased by the client (in Rwanda) from China.

It is sad but true that this very client came to us first to buy the plant and then finally bought it from China as price was probably cheaper and the plant was a used plant (thus meaning he could have it in Rwanda in 1 month).

If you want, we can depute our team to you plant to undertake an audit and identify the problem areas.

Please feel free to contact us directly. It shall be our pleasure to be of service to you.

Thanks & Best Regards

Hi, we have 4 VSK at Puno (Peru), We bought from chinese providers... and depend of quality and cost to know how it`ll work.

We had have some many troubles during comminsioning time, and for getting a better clinker quality. Now it´s more stable in operation and quality.

I think it`s very important to define and study about flowsheet and select apropiate equipment for each process.

More important it is study material properties (limestone, clay, coal and iron ore) to define process (crushing, grinding, drying, conveying and others)

If you need more information please feel free to contact me.
