We are working on a feasiblity study for a bentonite mine. One area that we do not have much experience in is drying beds. (how much area do we need, how often should they be worked, and what is the estimated drying time to hit a target moisture content?) Can anyone give me some direction reference material, industry standard practice, or even rules of thumb for designing a drying bed.
