Dr. Hartmut Krüner, formerly spokesman of the management, has left CeramTec-ETEC GmbH at Lohmar effective July 1st, 2011, and will take up new responsibilities.
Since that date, Dieter Effenberger, aged 55, has become CeramTec-ETEC’s sole General Manager. He has been member of the Management Board since April 1st, 2010, being the Company’s responsible manager for sales and marketing. Previously, for a period of ten years, he was in charge of the Company’s Division for armour ceramics.
Effenberger is given effective support by a highly qualified team - Michael Piccolini, Jürgen Ruß and Dr. Lars Schnetter. Michael Piccolini (51) is a graduate engineer specialising in ceramic materials. He has been working with CeramTec-ETEC for 22 years and has been managing the Division for specially engineered ceramic components. Jürgen Ruß (48), graduate in Business Administration, has started working with CeramTec-ETEC in May 2011. Before, he was in charge of the Division of Finance & Controlling with companies of the metal-working industry. Dr. Lars Schnetter (28) is an “integral part” of CeramTec-ETEC since 2007 and is now responsible for the Company’s R& D Division.
