- better fixing of product to the pallet due to biaxial stetch and understretch, in particular with products loosing volume with time

Shrink Wrapping:
Film gauges of 50 - 60µ operations proven with latest shrink shrinking technology (depending of nature of product to be wrapped).
Variable costs have ben reduced significantly since the introduction of frame-type shrinking technology and more advanced burner systems.
Shrink wrapping is tamper proof as opposed to spiral stretch wrapping.
Hood Stretching:
Film gauges of 50 - 60µ operations proven (depending of nature of product to be wrapped).
Very high capacity. 100+ palletloads/h operations proven.
Very little maintenance required.
Lower film consumption than shrink wrapping. ■
