All of a sudden, Indian Industries started becoming very serious about this Subject--Logistics.

During lase one week, I have been moving the area of Kota and various plants with in the vicinity of 70-90 km.The problem faced by these Industries-- Specially--Fertilizer and Cement ,how to dispatch their final products.These Industries have already gone for the capacity expansion but never thought of seriously about evacuation of finished products by rail and trucks.The subject Logistics starts from Bagging,packing,conveying,warehousing and then dispatches by trucks and wagons.

In past, these Industries used to enjoy availability of a rake for 10-12 hours but all of sudden Railway dept. has come down on holding time for a rake from 12 hours to 5-6 hours.This is catch 22 situation for the Industries.Now, to match the railway loading time they have to modify the/increase the bagging capacity up to 700-800 tph.(good opportunity for bagging machine and wagon loading machine suppliers).
