Hello to everyone,

I would like to know is there any special criteria for designing outlet chute for undersize of wet screen.

As you know wet screen uses in closed circuit of mills and undersize of screen will transfer in slurry condition with pumps.

Between screen and pump, there is a chute (and maybe a sump).

As I have seen in some plants, the chute wall slope is about 25 deg.

I would like to know is this angle very important for transporting slurry from screen to pump?
