I have a tin mine situated in the central west Namibia. The mine is located at the north eastern extremity of the Cape Cross Mineral Complex. approximately 75 million ton stockpile sand dump is available for development ( Mica, Ceramics).

The slime Dams.

A composite sample prepared from 99 samples taken during the auger drilling were analysed for tin and tantalite: Ta205<180ppm; Sn<2300ppm. The amount of Sn present in the cassiterite varies between 69% and 74%. Some 7% of the Ta205 is present in Wodginite, which can be recovered during the tin smelting process. The [ article size distribution of the material present in the slimes were done by analyzing down to 100 micron by screens and the remainder by sedigraph, 55-75% of the material was smaller than 45 micron]. The slime material attains a very high degree of plasticity and could be used as a plasticiser material. Slime Damp approximtely 5 millon ton.

My question to the industry is, what can be done with this product and who would be interested? Personal cotact namibsil@iway.na
