Lignite Safety

A new question:

Does anyone have experience with safety issues when handling lignite, either dried or not.

I would appreciate any tips on how to design a safe system, to avoid fires/explosions.

Also, does lignite become more dangerous the drier it gets?

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has several codes and guidelines to follow depending on the application of the coal system.

You should certainly determine the applicable code to follow.
