I am on the look out for system design calculation for lean phase and dense phase pneumatic conveing system with specific interest for PFA. One I could locate is Pneumatic conveying Consultant. May I request the forum to help in knowing others.

I have reviewed this calculation method and find it appropriate for conceptual design and sizing calculation and/or to evaluate Dilute Phase System Proposals from Vendors and Contractors. A recommendation would be to provide a suggestion to conduct testing of the applicable material to determine the range of "Pick-Up" Veleocites for a full range of process conditions. These lab results are invaluable in detailed system design.

Gas viscosity at 25 C = 3.8*10^-7 lbs/ Ft2

So Nre = 4272039.474

And fanning friction Factor.



With =0.0005

Nre = 4272039.474

I just calculate f = 0.00543271

I attempt to reach your f number ( f=0.00592)

But I was not successful.

Could you please make me clearly with F factor.
